Phoenix Client is a dedicated client and launcher for Minecraft Java Edition, in active development since 2021. It pairs a purpose-built 1.8.9 client for competitive play with a launcher that manages every Minecraft version, mod, and instance in one place.
The Phoenix client itself targets 1.8.9, where it ships with over 60 built-in mods and features tuned for performance and precision. The launcher is not limited to that version — you can download any Minecraft version directly, install the mods you need, and create and manage custom instances alongside it.
Windows and Linux builds are available from the Download page. Phoenix is moving to Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit) only: support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 is being dropped because Microsoft no longer ships security updates for them, and 32-bit builds are going away too. If you are on an older or 32-bit system, move to 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 to keep receiving updates.
This is normal and not a sign that anything is wrong. The warning appears because the program has no digital signature, which SmartScreen and some antivirus tools treat as suspicious on its own. Signing certificates are expensive and, for development teams in Iran, very difficult to obtain because of sanctions. The warning says nothing about the safety of the program — just always download it from the official site.
The Phoenix Wallet is the credit balance attached to your account. You can top it up and spend it on eligible items in the store, and it can be combined with an external payment method on the same order. Wallet credit is meant to be spent within the Services and has no cash value.
Every eligible purchase carries a 14-day refund window that opens the moment your payment is confirmed. The refundable share is highest immediately after payment and decays smoothly to zero by the end of day 14, so the sooner you ask, the more comes back to you. The exact figure for your order is calculated when you submit the request and shown to you before anything is processed.
Redeemed codes and keys, items that have already been used or equipped, content received for free through giveaways or compensation, purchases tied to suspended accounts or fraud, and any request submitted after the 14-day window has closed. Wallet top-ups also sit outside the normal model. If one order mixes refundable and non-refundable items, the rest is still processed normally.
No. Capes, hats, glasses, badges, animations, and similar items change how you look and nothing else. They provide no gameplay advantage.
